Big Earnie

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Big Earnie ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our estimation application (the "Service"). The Service is intended for authorized business users within organizations that have been granted access.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — name, email address, profile image, and authentication identifiers provided through Google, Microsoft Entra ID, or similar identity providers.
  • Organization and project data — clients, projects, estimates, staffing plans, team roles, rates, statements of work, and related business content you enter or upload.
  • Usage information — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken in the Service for security, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
  • API and integration data — OAuth tokens, consent records, and activity related to authorized API or MCP access.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service
  • Authenticate users and enforce access controls
  • Generate estimates, staffing suggestions, and related outputs you request
  • Respond to support requests and investigate abuse or security incidents
  • Improve features, reliability, and user experience

4. AI processing

When you use AI-assisted features, relevant estimate and staffing context may be sent to third-party model providers to generate suggestions. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share. Your organization may impose additional restrictions on AI use.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:

  • With service providers that host infrastructure, databases, authentication, or AI services on our behalf
  • With other users in your organization according to access permissions configured in the Service
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Your organization may request deletion of account or project data subject to applicable retention requirements.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and authenticated API access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because access is managed by invitation, many requests should be directed to your organization's administrator, who can coordinate with us as needed.

9. Cookies and session data

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain authenticated sessions and protect against unauthorized access. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent you from using the Service.

10. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than where you are located. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards when data is transferred internationally.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 and is not intended for personal or consumer use.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact

Privacy questions or requests may be directed to your organization's Big Earnie administrator or the team that provisioned your account.
